There's mold in some areas.

We would stay there again if passing through. Hotel was HIGH QUALITY and the rooms were soundproof. Everything created a quiet atmosphere. For lunch or dinner go to Porta Bella, located steps away from the property.

Interesting place for exploring Ciudad Juárez. Enjoyed the continental breakfast, which included fruit and fresh fruit.

The location is a definite plus. It was really easy to get a cab or city bus pretty much anywhere. Also there are many restaurants and attractions in the area.
I always dislike the fact that they don't have an iron in the room or in the front desk for that matter. I couldn't get an iron to save my life in my last two stays there. Not cool :(. I wore wrinkled clothes. They should also consider washers and dryers.

What I liked about Hotel Colonial Cuidad Juarez was that it had coffee in the lobby free of charge for guests. I also liked as many hotels have WIFI.
I didn't like that when I booked I was offered one price since since it was me and my 15 year old daughter. I guess this is't the hotels fault since Booked.net does say child and gives you the option to enter age 1 through 17 years old. The worker at the desk said under 11 years old is a child here. So I ended paying 3 dollars more than from hotel Conquistador and wanted to save money which included the taxi ride. I also was upset since the continental breakfast is cold food (cereal and fruits, and the already free coffe) Hot breakfast you pay per person. Also, they don't have a laundromat. I payed 3 dollars less at the hotel Conquistador and they had a laundry, and hot breakfast inlcuded. Not to say the least is that the free use of internet is only 20 minutes for anyone, and won't be longer if there is nobody waiting. Also, after my three days of stay with the price of 47.00 dollars. I had to pay one more night since I hadn't payed or looked for another place since I have to be at Cuidad Juarez for two more days. I ended up paying for 53.00 dollars for extra night, and I just asked why not the 47.00 dollars.. He said it was the reserved price which is not true. People came that same day and four to one room was the price of 42.00. You can call and the average price there for one night according to them is 657 pesos. Calculate that in dollars and what made me upset is that the billboard sign I saw said discount for four people to one room.

I liked the friendly atmosphere and the great customer service also the free transportation provided by the hotel.
Everything was ok except that it was a little far from the U.S. consulate.

that it was fairly cheap and location but there are better hotels at that price...
Room was not ready when I arrived and it was 5:00pm already, when we got our room it had two twin beds and we requested one. Looked like someone had used a bed since it was undone. We had to wait more to get another room. Bed is very uncomfortable, room smelled bad thanks to the bathroom. Looked more like a motel to me than an hotel. Won't go back again.
